Policies
Please review prior to booking, as the policy applies to all sessions booked.
Deposit/Retainer
In order to secure an appointment, clients must pay half of the total cost of the session for the retainer. The retainer is non-refundable and non-transferable. The retainer is applied to the session fee. One retainer holds one appointment. The remaining balance is due at the start of your session.
Refund Policy
All deposits/retainers/payments made to Digital Dais Photography are both non-refundable and non-transferable. Please be aware that absolutely no refunds will be given after a session has taken place.
In the event the session is cancelled, the client will forfeit any monies paid to Digital Dais Photography. No refunds will be given. No exceptions!
Rescheduling Policy
Retainers are non-refundable and non-transferable. One retainer holds one appointment. Clients are granted a one time courtesy to reschedule and transfer the retainer for emergency purposes ONLY. This will be left at the discretion of the photographer. After that one time exception have been granted, a new non-refundable retainer is required to secure a new appointment. Once a session is paid in full, there are no refunds, only reschedules. You must reschedule at least 3 days before the beginning of your appointment. Please make sure to contact Daisha directly.

Cancellation Policy
Clients must cancel their session at least 1 week before the appointment. All monies paid toward session is forfeited in event of cancellation. No exceptions!
Late Policy
All appointments are to start promptly at the time the client has booked. Clients will receive a 10-minute grace period. Arriving after the 10-minute grace period will result in a $30 late fee. If you are 10 minutes late to your 30 minute session, yourappointment will be cancelled. No exceptions! Clients should be ready to shoot when they arrive unless it was previously discussed with Daisha. Arriving at the session on time but not ready to shoot will result in a shorter appointment. Every minute late for your session will be deducted from total time and result in a shorter appointment. Appointment times are firm. If extra time is needed by the client, they may have the option to pay for additional time. This will depend on availability.
*If a client is more than 30 minutes late for their appointment or do not show, this will result in an automatic forfeit of the session and all monies paid shall be retained by Digital Dais Photography. No refunds will be given. No exceptions! Please contact Daisha directly if you are running late.
Photo Return
Your best photos from your session are chosen by your photographer for photo return. If you wish to select your own photos please let me know in advance otherwise, Daisha will hold complete power. Turn around time doesn’t start until your selections have been made. This process may prolong your return time depending on availability and scheduling. (Photos are normally sent for selection on the following business day).
Unedited & Raw Images
Digital Dais Photography does not release unedited images for ANY REASON without the watermark to clients. No exceptions! Clients MUST purchase additional edits at $20 per image if they would like more. I understand that clients can be excited about the outcome of their session when viewing the unedited images but please DO NOT SCREENSHOT OR POST unedited images to social media.
Turnaround Time
The turnaround time is up to 14 business days. Please do not count weekends when you are calculating your days. The turnaround time starts after the client has notified the photographer that they have selected their favorite images to be edited. No exceptions! Please understand that 14 business days does not equal 2 weeks! Sneak peeks are not offered at this time. An expedited editing fee is required in order to receive the edited images sooner than 14 business days.
Expedited Editing
Clients have the option to receive their edited images sooner! Expedited editing is an additional fee.

Liability
By agreeing to a photography session with Digital Dais Photography, LLC., I am hereby waiving, releasing, and discharging Digital Dais Photography and all its affiliates, from any and all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons released, for death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to me or my family including my traveling to and from this session. Digital Dais Photography is not responsible for any injuries inflicted upon any participating parties.
Client(s) will be responsible for their children and for themselves and release photographer from any claims against their person or their business. Client swears that each person is participating voluntarily in the said photography session and forfeit all right to bring a suit against Daisha M. Spears or Digital Dais Photography, LLC for any reason. DDP is not responsible for uncooperative parties. It is understood that the behavior of children is unpredictable, however, photographer is not liable if children do not cooperate during sessions.
Service Agreement
Once a session theme and service is agreed on by both photographer and client, it can not be changed. If for any reason that changes are needed to be made by the client, proper notification should be made to photographer AT LEAST 2 weeks prior to the start of the appointment. No changes shall be made after. No exceptions! Bringing a guest is acceptable, but please limit it to one. Additional guest will be asked to wait outside. (This applies to studio sessions only)
